Terms & Conditions

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to set forth any and all matters regarding the terms, conditions of use, and operation of services provided by SEIL Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The major terms used herein shall have the following meanings:

Member: A user who has registered with the Website by agreeing to these terms, providing personal information, and executing a user agreement to use the Website.
User Agreement: An agreement entered into by and between the Website and a Member regarding the use of the Website.
Member ID (hereinafter "ID"): A unique combination of characters and numbers assigned to each Member for identification and service access.
Password: A combination of characters and numbers selected by the Member to verify identity and protect the Member's rights and interests.
Operator: The person or entity operating the Website and its associated services.
Termination: The act of a Member canceling the User Agreement.

Article 3 (Applicable Rules Other than Standard Terms)

The Operator may separately announce operational policies as needed. If these Terms of Use and operational policies overlap, the operational policies shall prevail.

Article 4 (Execution of User Agreement)

Formation: The User Agreement is established when an applicant agrees to these Terms of Use and the Operator accepts the application.
Indication of Consent: An applicant indicates consent by reading these Terms of Use during the registration process and selecting "I agree".

Article 5 (Application for Service Use)

Information Provision: Users applying for membership must provide all required information (such as User ID, Password, and nickname).
Truthful Information: Users who register false information or steal another person's information cannot claim any rights regarding service usage and may be subject to punishment under relevant laws.

Article 6 (Privacy Policy and Personal Information)

Password Management: The Website and Operator do not retain Member Passwords directly. Password management adheres strictly to the Website's Privacy Policy.
Personal Information Protection: The Operator endeavors to protect Members' personal information in compliance with applicable laws.
Exemption of Liability: The Operator bears no liability for information leaked due to reasons attributable to the Member.
Measures for Illegal Content: In cases involving illegal posts that violate public order or national security, the Operator may access and submit user data upon request from relevant authorities.

Article 7 (Obligations of the Operator)

Handling Complaints: Justifiable opinions or complaints raised by Members will be handled promptly. If immediate processing is difficult, notification will be provided via announcements, direct messages, or email.
Facility Maintenance: The Operator will repair or restore equipment without delay to ensure continuous, stable service. Service may be temporarily suspended in cases of natural disasters or unavoidable circumstances.

Article 8 (Obligations of Members)

Compliance: Members must comply with these Terms, operational policies, notices, and relevant laws, and must not engage in acts that disrupt Website operations or damage its reputation.
Prohibition of Assignment: Service rights and contractual status cannot be assigned, gifted, or provided as collateral to third parties without express consent.
Account Management: Members are responsible for managing their ID and Password and must not permit third-party access without consent.
Intellectual Property Rights: Members must respect the intellectual property rights of the Operator, the Website, and third parties.

Article 9 (Service Availability Hours)

General Rule: Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless operational or technical difficulties arise. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance.
Unannounced Service Interruption: Services may be suspended temporarily or permanently without prior notice due to:
- Urgent system maintenance, expansion, replacement, or malfunction
- Force majeure events such as national emergencies, blackouts, or natural disasters
- Suspension of telecommunication services by primary carriers
- Traffic overload severely impacting normal service operations
Notification Method: Notice will be provided prior to service interruptions when possible, or retroactively in uncontrollable situations.

Article 10 (Termination of Service Use)

Termination Procedure: Members wishing to terminate the User Agreement must submit a cancellation request online.
Data Deletion: Upon termination request, the Member's record is automatically removed from the admin interface, and the Operator will no longer have access to the information.

Article 11 (Service Restrictions)

The Website may place restrictions on service usage, take legal action, terminate the User Agreement, or suspend services if a Member commits any of the following acts:

Registering false details during sign-up or info modification
Interfering with others' service use or stealing information
Impersonating Website administrators, staff, or affiliates
Infringing on moral or intellectual property rights of the Website or third parties
Misusing another Member's ID
Collecting, storing, or disclosing another Member's personal data without consent
Engaging in acts objectively recognized as criminal activities
Violating any other relevant laws and regulations

Article 12 (Management of Postings)

Management Responsibility: The Operator monitors and manages postings, reserving the right to delete improper content. However, primary responsibility for any content rests with the posting Member.
Public Requests: Postings may be removed or moved without prior consent upon request from public bodies such as communications standard commissions.
Criteria for Improper Postings:
- Content involving insult or defamation
- Links or content violating public order and societal customs
- Content encouraging illegal copying or hacking
- Commercial advertisements for profit
- Content linked to criminal activity
- Content violating third-party copyrights or rights
- Any content violating relevant statutes
Temporary Suspension: Access to postings may be temporarily suspended upon receiving legitimate rights infringement claims.

Article 13 (Custody of Postings)

In the event that service operations must be discontinued due to unavoidable reasons, advance notice will be provided along with measures to facilitate data transfers.

Article 14 (Copyright of Postings)

Copyright Ownership: Members retain copyright over their original posts. The Website may not use these posts commercially without consent, except for non-profit purposes or within internal service displays.
Prohibition of Commercial Use: Members may not commercially process or sell information acquired through the service.
Removal: Content falling under Article 12 may be deleted, moved, or rejected without prior notice.

Article 15 (Damages)

Liability: Members bear primary civil and criminal liability for actions taken within the Website.
Exemption: The Website provides no compensation for damages resulting from force majeure events or Member negligence/willful misconduct.

Article 16 (Indemnification and Disclaimers)

Expected Gains and Choices: The Operator is not liable for failed expected returns or damages resulting from Member choices made using service materials.
Telecommunication Failures: The Operator is not responsible for damages caused by network disruptions or third-party telecom carrier failures.
Stored Data: The Operator is not liable for materials stored, posted, or transmitted by Members.
Member Negligence: The Operator bears no responsibility for service disruptions caused by reasons attributable to the Member.
Member Disputes: The Operator is not liable for transactions, disputes, or damages arising between Members or between Members and third parties.
Material Accuracy: The Operator does not guarantee the authenticity, trustworthiness, or accuracy of data posted by users.
System Disruptions: The Operator is not liable for system outages caused by third-party attacks, unpatched computer viruses, or force majeure events occurring without gross negligence.

Addendum

These Terms of Use shall take effect on December 12, 2022.
